Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Network Engineer-Advanced in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will play a key role in our Network Operations team, handling the deployment and management of routers, switches, and firewalls, and proactively troubleshooting our complex Network Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and address connectivity issues within the Network Infrastructure, including campus, roadside, backbone, LAN, Walk-in Centers, partner networks, and third-party connectivity.

• Manage Layer 2 and 3 protocols, focusing on maintaining the necessary data throughput rate by overseeing network activity.

• Review the network architecture and design, including failover capabilities, and propose changes to optimize performance and reliability.

• Ensure network segmentations are well designed to safeguard sensitive environments such as PCI, Financial, and customer data.

• Use SolarWinds to create dashboards for proactive monitoring of the entire Network Infrastructure and management reporting dashboards.

• Verify that all network infrastructure routers, switches, and firewalls are sending log to SIEM by reviewing SIEM logs.

• Regularly monitor and deploy patches and updates to all network infrastructure routers, switches, firewalls, and other supporting equipment.

• Assist the Network and Security Operations team in designing Cloud architecture, focusing on capacity, failover, stability, and security design.

• Conduct vulnerability scans for network infrastructure, ensuring perimeter, network segments including databases, applications, and server environments are adequately protected.

• Keep accurate inventory controls supporting the network infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain network infrastructure diagrams, documenting any changes along with associated change control approvals.

• Support the SRCO team with investigation, triage forensic analysis, and evidence preservation during cybersecurity events.

• Assist with threat intelligence and hunting by leveraging in place security tools.

• Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines set by SRCO and Industry best practices such as NIST. Requirements

• Proficiency in Documentation to ensure clear understanding and reference for future needs

• Familiarity with Policy creation, implementation, and adherence

• Ability to ensure Compliance with necessary regulatory and company standards

• Experience in Review processes to identify areas for improvement or correction

• Expertise in Database Design and management to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval

• Knowledge of "About Time" software or similar time management tools

• Strong understanding of Security principles and practices to safeguard network integrity

• Ability to Troubleshoot network issues quickly and effectively

• Experience in Performing Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required

• Proficiency in managing and optimizing Networks for maximum performance

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as Microsoft Azure

• Proficiency in using Monitoring Tools to oversee network performance

• Understanding of Shipping processes, if applicable to the role

• Knowledge of Best Practices in network engineering and implementation

• Experience in Maintaining Logs for network events and issues

• Expertise in Configuration Management to ensure network consistency

• Comprehensive understanding of network Protocols

• Ability to Ensure Compliance with all necessary regulations and standards

• Experience in Change Management to oversee network updates or modifications

• Experience in Deploying network systems and configurations

• Proficiency in managing network Switches for optimal performance

• Experience in risk Mitigation to prevent potential network issues
