　　Project Overview:Bechtel is on the Northrop Grumman Corp. team preparing to deliver the Sentinel (GBSD) system of inter-continental ballistic missiles and launch infrastructure. Sentinel is a vital U.S. Air Force program designed to modernize the nations aging force of inter-continental ballistic missiles, which make up the ground element of the nuclear deterrent. As part of the Northrop Grumman Sentinel nationwide team, Bechtel will provide launch system design, construction, and integration.

　　A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has managed such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. 　　Position Summary:The Senior Mechanical Engineer will support the Mechanical Engineering Group Supervisor in leading other Mechanical Engineers who will prepare design and procurement documents for the Sentinel Project. This position has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating these assignments as they pertain to plumbing and fire protection systems as well as unique requirement driven equipment. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills and proven problem-solving capabilities.
