The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn’s RD Finance Team is seeking a Senior Manager Strategic Finance who is a passionate, strategic, analytical and hands-on leader to provide finance support to our Developer Platforms and Experience org. The DPX team is a newly created team within Engineering focused on creating tools and experiences that will ensure the rest of the RD organization is as productive as possible and has the strategic capabilities that LinkedIn requires. In this exciting role, you will create the finance partnership with this new team and focus on helping the team deliver on its charter.

The role is highly cross-functional, blending strategy execution, creating clarity and speed to execution of needle-moving corporate priorities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving highly complex ambiguous operational questions within LinkedIn’s RD team, and has exceptional business acumen and the skills to operate autonomously to identify, prioritize, partner, influence and implement high-impact change.

Responsibilities:

Drive data-driven analysis, size opportunities, develop understanding of key drivers to identify areas of improvement and prioritize strategic opportunities for the DPX team

Partner closely with DPX leadership to define success criteria for the team, design and set targets against true north and supporting metrics, and manage ongoing process to track, analyze, and deliver insights from the metrics to influence the strategy of the DPX team

Track impact of initiatives against key metrics

Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and necessary context to senior management and key stakeholders to drive action.

Partners with cross-functional stakeholders and provides guidance to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective.

Oversees the development of hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks.

Manage the annual planning, recurring forecasting cycles, and month-end close processes, providing valuable insights and analysis.

Influence and manage senior leadership, synthesize exec-ready communications, providing thought leadership to align on the vision prioritize investments

Manage analyst providing finance support to the DPX team

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 8 year of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR Equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of people management experience.

5 years experience in the technology industry working directly with RD teams.

The pay range for this role is $146,000 to $237,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
