We are in search of a Sr Program Manager (PM) within Raytheon Vision System (RVS) Tactical products. This role will collaborate with other program manager staff in setting program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional teams and subcontractors. The Sr Program Manager will integrate the performance of the program’s engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, mission assurance and program operations teams. The Sr PM establishes an executable baseline and manages the risks and opportunities of assigned programs. This role will support and present Program Management Reviews (PMRs), EACs, as well as coordinating customer Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs). This position develops and adheres to the program’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring program growth and achieving measurable customer satisfaction. The Sr Program Manager is responsible for all cost, schedule, and technical aspects of assigned programs.
This person will also be responsible for supporting proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, negotiation, and administration of contracts with the customer. This team member is responsible for developing excellent customer relationships and develop corrective actions to mitigate customer identified issues and changes to program scope. Strong organizational, communication, and listening skills are a must for this position. This role will need to be able to balance organization, customer/program, as well as execution team member priorities and conflicts while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction and all business objectives.
This role will span a variety of programs, technologies, team members, and will require the ability to collaborate and support multiple Associated Directors as market segment leaders. The vision behind this role is to develop and hone a strong program manager capable of taking over various production programs within their existing execution life cycles.
This position is a hybrid role located in Goleta, California. The selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
Required Skills:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with large complex Missile Defense Agency program teams.
Knowledge and experience implementing EVMS and Risk & Opportunity management.
Ability to lead by impact and collaboration.
Experience leading &/or managing financial metrics (AOP or equivalent).
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Raytheon processes and policies.
Experience with EO/IR technologies.
Demonstrated knowledge of IPDS.
Strong communications skills and experience presenting to customers and senior key team members.
Knowledge of Operations, Supply Chain, and Financials.
Strong organization and self-motivated.
Strategic thinker, comfortable working business growth activities including complex proposals.
Continuous Improvement experience and knowledge of the RTX CORE Operating System and Agile methodology.

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
