YOUR ROLE
Position can be based out of Louisville KY, Greer SC, or Memphis TN. Hybrid role with travel.
The Sr. Manager of 3PL services, in partnership with the Head of NA Regional Logistics and the Manager of Distribution Services for NA 3PL Logistics, provides leadership, vision, and direction to Distribution, Warehousing, Reverse Logistics, Inventory Control, and Materials Management operational functions for North America. Additionally, the incumbent serves as a strategic partner to upstream supply chain functions including new product development, planning, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, health and safety, and human resources.
Reconciles deviations in warehouse invoicing with purchasing and finance.
Ensures all physical inventories have Henkel representation.
Develops supply chain strategy at each assigned 3PL location and execution to improve service and minimize total cost of delivery.
Drives supply chain excellence at each assigned 3PL location including continuous improvement activities to reduce cost and improve service. Integrates processes and systems from 3PL to Henkel
Steers the service strategy process and implementation. Aligns individual warehouse footprint strategy with regional plan.
Establishes and improves KPIs and supports short and long-term planning in view of relevant KPIs and inventory.
Implements global supply chain policies, procedures and systems.
Achieves customer service level targets and ensures follow-up on key issues at the 3PL level.
Enables decision making cost of transportation, warehouse, inventory and scrap management.
YOUR SKILLS
College degree preferred, or 10 plus years of experience in a similar role
Process improvement via Six Sigma preferred
Multi-site management of third-party logistics experience
Reconciliation of internal and external inventory
Distribution center knowledge of safety, budget, and project management
Knowledge of FTL and LTL freight management skills
Ability to influence through cross-functional teams
Experience within supply chain optimization including logistics and materials management at 3PL
The salary for this role is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
