  GENERAL FUNCTION

  The Sr. Manager of Business Analytics focuses on providing dedicated analytical support to the Eye Care COE and Brand Teams. The Sr. Manager partners with all senior leaders to provide detailed reports on performance, identify trends and provide insights to improve performance. Supports the process for providing KPIs and inputs to the leadership team to support business decisions and assists in driving a fact based approach to business management.

  The Sr. Manager of Business Analytics also supports forecasting, key initiatives, and improves run-the-business. Strategic initiatives are project-based; run-the-business is ongoing – identifying key business drivers to improve predictability, forecasting and setting targets, and monitoring performance.

  MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Leverages company and market information to assess current situation, identifies key implications and trends, and recommends strategies to successfully improve results.

  Provides analytics support to the Eye Care COE and Brand Teams – analyzes business results, identifies opportunities to improve performance, develops business cases, and collaborates with key partners to help brainstorm and support key innovation.

  Leverages research and analysis of internal and external sources of information to provide business insights and support the leadership team in developing and presenting fact-based business perspectives and recommendations.

  Collaborates with business leaders to develop specific action plans in support of Eyecare operations to realize opportunities, address shortfalls, and implement a longer-term corporate vision.

  Partners with corporate BI and IT teams to ensure data is valid and determine ways to optimize and automate reports.

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or quantitative-related field or comparable work experience

  7+ years of work experience

  Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to absorb large sets of data, and scan internal and external sources to support or disprove hypotheses

  Strong Excel modeling (financial and business) capabilities, including multi-variant regression

  Ability to interpret analytical findings into relevant, actionable and understandable business insights and recommendations

  Demonstrated ability to prioritize with a high focus on achieving results

  Strong communication and presentation skills with focus on gaining senior leader buy-in

  Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

  Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  Experience with Business Objects Web Intelligence and Tableau

  Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  Master’s degree (MBA, MS)

  3+ years of work experience in Finance or analytics function

  Experience in the Retail or healthcare industry

  ​Pay Range: 116,400.67 - 160298.33

  Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
