Overview
Chick-fil-A Restaurants depend on high quality sales forecasts as a critical input to several automated systems and process, such as labor scheduling and inventory ordering. The Sr. Lead Technical Product Owner is a member of a growing Agile-based DevOps team responsible for Restaurant Demand Forecasting and will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency at Chick-fil-A.
In this role, the Technical Product Owner will act as the liaison between Supply Chain, Enterprise Analytics, DTT, and other areas of the business leveraging the Restaurant Sales Forecast, working across multiple organization roadmaps to deliver forecast improvements. This individual will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional leaders to define and execute the product strategy, document functional use cases, define the problems to be solved, research in-field scenarios, and coordinate work with multiple engineering teams to continually build out and improve the capabilities of the Forecast engine.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technical and statistical concepts, as well as an effective relational and communicative presence.

Responsibilities
Responsible for Restaurant Demand Forecasts, including day-to-day management of the design, development, testing, release, and continuous improvement processes Applies comprehensive knowledge of machine learning and forecasting models and concepts to address challenges in multiple areas of the business Leads efforts with Supply Chain leadership to establish, own, and execute a product strategy for the forecast engine Coordinate with other TPOs and DevOps teams to ensure product features and dependencies are shared and understood Serves as the final authority representing the customer's interests in sprint backlog prioritization and requirements discussions, setting all priorities for the team in alignment with the business stakeholder roadmap(s) Ensures that the product delivers and maintains a high degree of uptime, security, and quality Partners with DTT engineering teams, EA data scientists, and Supply Chain to improve the performance of the forecasts Communicates with internal customers and presents complicated information in a digestible manner
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and/or experience with Agile development approaches and techniques Experience with technical systems, data structures and languages Experience with forecasting methodologies, data science, or machine learning concepts Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure Full understanding of separation of duties between Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Team roles in Scrum Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent personal and relational intelligence Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration at all levels Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision Team player who is committed to both the team and the product Strong decision-making skills with the ability to collaborate and make decisions in the gray Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Creative thinker with a vision
