Position Summary

The Senior Information Technology Technician will play a critical role in reliability and functionality of hardware, software, network, and communication systems prior to, throughout, and following startup of a new factory. You will be responsible for the assigned installation, configuring, development, maintenance and documentation of in-house computer software, databases and reporting systems. You will coordinate in-house implementation of new and enhanced corporate directed software and hardware.
Provide analytical, technical, and developmental expertise and support for existing and future plant computer related hardware, plant floor data collection systems and business information technology.
Analyze, develop, document, and maintain necessary in-house information and data collection systems.
Install, configure, performance tune, administer and troubleshoot all in-house computer related hardware, software, database, network, communication, and multi-media systems.
Maintain reliability and provide continuous improvement of factory floor solutions to support the goals and objectives of the manufacturing and distribution operation.
Respond to user’s requests for new and enhanced information systems using sound business judgment.
Understand business processes that utilize computer information systems.
Work with all levels of factory personnel to help provide effective solutions to business and operational problems.
Participate in maintenance of and comply with company data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, compliance, security, and authorization policies.
Plan and coordinate local implementation of new and enhanced NPPC software.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
2 year technical degree in computer science, computer technology, or a related field AND 2+ years' experience working in information systems/information technology.OR
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent AND 4+ years' experience working in information systems/information technology.The approximate pay range for this position is $53,000 to $80,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
