HR Generalist at our headquartersin Ixonia, WI. Under the direction of the President, the Human ResourcesManager will provide support in a variety of areas to includeemployment, employee relations, benefits, compensation (includingpayroll), affirmative action, training and safety. POSITION DUTIES:Recruit candidates for open positions in the organization, writingplacement ads for internet, newspapers, recruiting agencies and schools.Interview, reference check, prescreen potential candidates. Perform newemployee orientations. Process Bi-weekly payroll for all employees.Manages the employee benefits program for the organization, includinginsurance benefits and company 401(k) plan. Enrollments, changes, termsetc. Maintaining employees attendance and accrual balances in labortracking system. Maintain employees FMLA information and replyaccordingly. Administering employee records ensuring compliance withemployment laws and regulations. Preparing monthly reviews forsupervisors. Investigate confidential issues/complaints and counselpersonnel on employee relation issues. Administer safety programsincluding annual training, issue vouchers for safety equipment.Administer company uniform program. Assist supervision in disciplinarymatters or employee issues. Keep up to date on government regulationsaffecting company polices and human resource practices. Ensure employeescompliance with all company rules. Annual review of company handbook.Complete all annual reports, EEO-1, 401k compliance testing, CMS, andother required. MARGINAL DUTIES: Back up for Safety Manager incompleting WC-12\'s and Osha 300 Log maintenance and other worker\'scompensation documentation. Assist with all OSHA regulations andrequired compliance. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Education and TrainingRequires a bachelor\'s degree and four to six years of progressivelyresponsible related experience, or ten years of progressivelyresponsible related experience, or a combination of education andexperience. Ability to clearly communicate with employees, peers, andmanagement. Well-organized, ability to plan, prioritize and work in afast-paced environment. Continuous self improvement through training,classes, or seminars of job related.
