This position is located in American Fork, UT- we are seeking someone that is available to come into the office a minimum of 4-5 days a week
Job SummaryThis position is responsible to support employees and external partners with HR related inquires, working closely with HRBPs. Responsibilities include, assisting with employee onboarding, including new hire orientation and document completion, maintenance of I-9s, administration of HR-based programs and serving as a point of contact for benefit and HR policy related matters, data gathering and analysis, and other HR generalist duties as assigned. Interface with all levels of the organization.
What you will do* Receive the volume of standard HR related inquiries for the business* Perform a variety of data entry, data gathering, analysis, and updates* Perform onboarding of new hires and ensure the completion of document requirements* Review and maintain I-9's* Track Affirmative Action Plan actions and annual related correspondence* Plan and execute Wellness Events* Arrange, schedule and present at benefit orientations and serves as subject matter point of contact* Administrate Service Awards requests and delivery* Provide HR Intranet maintenance* Schedule and participate in exit meetings* Review and submit tuition reimbursements for approval* Perform SOX testing* Maintain electronic and hard copy department files* Complete employment verifications* Prepare response to multi-state unemployment claims* Participate in HR Projects and/or assume other duties as assignedTravel/Physical Demands* Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.Qualifications
Must have:* Typically 5 or more years of related experience.* Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.* Proven work experience as an HR Administrator or relevant complementary role* Experience with HR software, such as, HRIS or HRMS (preferred, ADP, Workday)* Computer literacy and MS Office applications, in particular* Knowledge of basic labor laws and the application of such* Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects, maintain accuracy and execute quickly* Strong communication skills including (phone, email,in-person communication and presentation skills)* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work* Ability to set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines* Very good attention to detail and accuracy* Customer service oriented and ability to work with and resolve complex issues* Ability to plan and arrange activities* Excellent interpersonal communication skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information* Ability to work in a team environment* Ability to multi-task* Ability to manage conflict* Capacity to work effectively under pressure* Good analysis and problem solving skills* Oversee multiple and/or complex projects* Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities* Establish productive working relationships at multiple levels within the organizationNice to have:* Bachelor's degree preferred.* SHRM/PHR certification is a plusWhat you get as a Henry Schein One Employee* A great place to work with fantastic people.* A career in the healthcare technology...
