We are looking for a talented Heroku Developer with strong Java skills to join our team and help us build, deploy, and scale applications on the Heroku platform.

Job Description:

As a Heroku Developer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining applications on the Heroku cloud platform. You will leverage your expertise in Java to ensure our applications run efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve working closely with our development team to optimize app performance, manage workflows, and ensure continuous deployment with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy applications on the Heroku platform.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java.

Utilize Heroku CLI for creating, managing, and scaling applications.

Optimize application performance using Heroku’s metrics and dyno management.

Integrate third-party services using Heroku add-ons and the Heroku Elements Marketplace.

Manage and scale databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues and downtime.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Heroku Developer.

Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks.

Experience with Heroku CLI and buildpacks.

Knowledge of database management, especially PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The base salary range for this position is Min $91,457 Mid $125,754 Max $137,186 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
