  As an Engineer Sr., you will conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments, applying your strong understanding of industry and operational requirements. Taking initiative and anticipating customer needs will make you a stand-out player. Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are also vital in this role!

  Responsibilities/Expectations:

  Owns the electrical design for small to large sized natural gas projects (valve sites, meter stations, compressor stations, etc.)

  Takes ownership of work assigned, by collaborating with internal tactical projects team

  Provides technical recommendations in the design, construction, and modification of electrical systems at new and existing facilities

  Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment

  May supervise the work of others and is responsible for work of third party contractors

  Demonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects

  Prepares and delivers presentations

  Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions

  Interprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services

  Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs

  Champions processes, procedures and safety standards

  Monitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects

  Identifies project roadblocks and works to formulate solutions to overcome problems

  Other duties as assigned

  Education/Years of Experience:

  Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

  Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification

  Other Requirements:

  Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

  Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area

  Preferred: Project Management experience

  Required: Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)

  Required: Experience with Allen Bradley & SCADAPack PLCs
