Project Kuiper's Technical Program Management team is looking for a detail-oriented, high-energy Senior Technical Program Manager to manage the release and assembly of high complexity PCBAs. You will be a key stakeholder during the development of a new and exciting product. You will be ensuring the product development phases are well defined, planned, and executed.Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Key job responsibilities- Plan and schedule PCB design releases in line with overall program schedule and cross-team dependencies. Drive alignment on scope.- Define hardware configurations and allocations based on cross-functional team needs and budget/capacity limitations.- Build and maintain detailed PCBA release and build readiness plans. Drive and track progress against the plans. Coordinate between cross-functional teams to identify and track dependencies, identify risks and create mitigation plans.- Maintain alignment with program-level schedule and milestones. Communicate status, risks, and blockers via multiple mechanisms to audiences at all levels.- Work with a cross-functional team of EEs, MEs, Reliability engineers, CAD engineers, and Manufacturing engineers to resolve complex schedule and technical issues related to designing and building a PCBA. Drive issue resolution at a hands-on level when necessary.- Create, manage, and track ECOs and deviations. Work with stakeholders and apply judgement to balance speed vs risk.- Plan and manage PCBA builds at a contract manufacturer at a day-to-day level of detail, balancing stakeholder demands with CM capacity and efficiency. Make sure schedule and quality requirements are met. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.
