Overview
The Director/SR. Director of Enterprise Data Services primary responsibility will be defining and implementing creative solutions to business problems using advanced models, algorithms, and business logic. They will foster a collaborative and embedded way-of-work, serving as the leader of a high-performing team that proactively engages business partners to embed analytics at all stages of business development. They will have the responsibility of delivering cutting-edge data solutions to the organization’s Trade, Operations, Sales, and 340B business segments, using their skills in both technology and social science to find trends and manage data. They will also utilize industry knowledge, contextual understanding, skepticism of existing assumptions – to uncover solutions to business challenges.
Responsibilities
Defines and implements creative solutions to business problems using advanced models, algorithms, and business logic
Leads a team of analysts and developers that proactively engages business partners to embed analytics at all stages of development, serving as the key resource to the team in answering questions, supporting problem solving and ensuring analytics initiatives are delivered on-time and meet stated objectives
Development and deployment of business intelligence technology
Translates business questions into analytics objectives and designs while serving as the thought leader and consultant to their team, supported business units and enterprise leaders
Coaches, mentor, and set strategy for their team who will leverage data science and advanced analytics to uncover insights and help guide business decision making
Bring deep knowledge of analytical approaches, leveraging both descriptive and inferential techniques while ensuring the team is applying methods and tools appropriately
Conceptualize and develop industry-leading data infrastructure for the organization’s 340B program
Analyzes, prepares, and manages top-line financial data and supporting SQL codes
Pushes for continuous innovation and improvement in analytical approaches
Has a vision, intellectual curiosity, and business acumen to generate new metrics and insights that assist in driving key decisions and outcomes
Performs other tasks as assigned
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or other related field required
MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
10+ years of experience in Reporting, Analytical, Business Intelligence, IT, or similar data analytics role required
10+ years working with relational databases, SQL, Excel, PowerBI, and ETL processes required
5+ years managing an Analytics team required
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty required
Pharmacy, Insurance or specialty experience preferred
Established proficiency in database management software (Microsoft SSMS) required
Ability to author codes using SQL, DAX, VBA, VBS, HTML, Python is required
Strong analytical skills and the ability to mine large amounts of data desired
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once
Develop ETL systems using various packages as requested by partners

USD $156,700.00 - $235,000.00 / Year
