Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Senior Director will a work hybrid schedule, and must be available to work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC at least 2-3 days per week and more if needed and will able to work some from home also. Responsible for leading a team and global operations for a GTS functional area to deliver efficient outcomes for the organization. The Senior Director leads the planning, coordination and implementation of technology services within their scope of focus, including establishing tools and processes, managing cross-functional engagement, applying industry best practices, managing risks, and overseeing team performance to deliver streamlined, technology-enabled business services.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Database & Integration Platform Services team. Accountable for planning, delivery, and maintenance of the related platform technologies and services. This includes multiple database and data integration technologies and services.
• Responsible the development and implementation of the technical roadmap for the related technologies, tools, and services.
• Responsible for the daily operational support for the platform.
• Responsible for establishing Services Level Agreements for the platform services in alignment with the product teams using the related services.
• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations, ensure alignment with GTS priorities and strategies, effectively handle risks, and support organizational change.
• Incorporate industry best-practice concepts to support planning and implementation of functional initiatives and operations
• Develop frameworks and processes to support execution of strategic plans and priorities.
• Monitor and escalate risk and issues identified in unit teams.
• Partner with other GTS and technology leaders to understand process improvement needs and translate these into actions and/or projects, including defining the benefits and leading the improvements.
• Create an environment that enhances Herbalife values and culture, facilitating collaboration and positive and productive working relationships.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a global team based in multiple locations; virtual management skills are critical
• Set objectives, expectations, and productivity measures for the team members under supervision.
• Supervise the work product, performance, and career development of direct report team members.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to direct reports on leading and developing their own teams.

Required
• Knowledge and experience implementing and supporting Oracle ERP applications (On Prem and SaaS versions) and database technologies including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo, and other emerging database products.
• Knowledge and experience implementing and supporting data integration technologies including Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Data Guard, Kafka, and Apigee.
• Strong leadership skills including the ability to foster a spirit of teamwork and unity; delegate effectively; coach, mentor, develop, motivate, and empower staff.
• Ability to think strategically, manage ambiguity and complexity, use data-driven decision-making, and foster innovation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills for both executive and technical audiences.
• Experience in designing and implementing technology-enabled solutions in support of business or operations.
• Ability to build trusted relationships, work across organizational boundaries, and influence to actively lead multiple initiatives and inspire change in the organization.
• Ability to build diverse multi-functional teams with internal and external players, influence and challenge the status quo and develop creative solutions to complex problems.Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity

Experience:
Required:
• 12+ years of experience in IT or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Database Administration and Management
• 10+ years of experience in Data Integration technologies
• 10+ years of leadership experience
• Experience in leading large, global teams
• Demonstrated track record of successful leadership and delivering quantifiable results in a complex, international organization of relevant scale and complexity
Education:
Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
Preferred
• MBA or other advanced degree
