Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a Help Desk Technician, you'll be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of IT issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Office 365, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a good understanding of basic networking principles.
Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve IT support requests from users via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.
Collaborate with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Create and update documentation for IT processes and procedures.
Provide technical training and guidance to users when necessary.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of all system and user data
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 operating systems and troubleshooting.
Experience working with Active Directory, including user management and group policies.
Proficiency in Office 365 applications and troubleshooting common issues.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
