Description

Robert Half is recruiting for a strong Senior Cost Accountant / Consultant to help our construction/manufacturing client. The Cost Accountant Consultant will lead the analysis of all bill of material (BOMs), routers and overhead allocations to ensure costs are accurately recorded in the general ledger. In addition, the consultant will be assisting with the month-end close processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals, and inventory (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods). Knowledge of large ERPs Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/ or SAP preferred. This role will be located onsite in Inland Empire, CA.

Skills:

Manufacturing experience required (bills of materials, routers)

Intermediate Excel skills required (pivot tables and V Lookups)

Requirements

Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills

Must be skilled in Excel, data analysis and modeling

Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in a costing capacity in a Manufacturing setting

Experience with ERP systems
