Leads negotiation efforts and deliverscompelling counteroffers to key supply relationships.* Identifies, develops, and leads the efforts to qualify high performingsuppliers across the portfolio.* Develops long term thoughtful category strategies for global spend.* Challenges the performance capabilities of suppliers in the machiningcategory through identifying areas of efficiency in the operations process,optimizing the supply chain and eliminating waste.* Develops and implements risk mitigation reinforcements through cooperationwith the suppliers for asset and employee redundancy and follows up onimplementation of these programs driving results.* Validates current and future capacity capabilities by asset along withopportunities for portfolio optimization of machined parts. The leaderbalances sourcing share with the supplier deploying parts to underutilizedassets.* Drives performance & quality improvement programs in partnership withSundyne quality.* Develops supplier performance management and risk mitigation programs andrelated metrics across Sundyne's spend portfolio.* Constructs & modifies contract language to reduce risk exposure of thebusiness.* Leads, presents key improvements, developments across strategic sourcingportfolio in business reviews to leadership.* Understands ongoing trends across the globe and adjusts strategy throughintegrating needed agility into supply chain plans.* Forecasts inflation for responsible spend categories appropriately based onmarket intelligence.* Suggests improvement, refinement to end-to-end supply chain processes.

　　Skills & Abilities* Requires intermediate understanding of a machine shop and the machiningcategory.* Six sigma or lean experience required.* Engineering experience preferred.* In depth understanding of strategic sourcing programs & practices.* Strong negotiations skills.* Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.* Strong relational skills, ability to structure a compelling businessproposition.* Agile, adaptable to the rapidly changing supply chain environment.* Ability to multi-task and manage the pressure of the supply chainenvironment.* Approximately 40% travel (global and domestic).* Experience in a manufacturing environment required.* Experience with ERP systems.* Fluent in English.

　　Qualifications:* Minimum of 10-15 years strategic sourcing experience.* Manufacturing and machine shop knowledge (process, assets) required.* Master's degree preferred.* ISM/CPSM certification preferred.* Experience with ERP systems preferred.* Lean or Six Sigma experience certification required.

　　Physical requirements* Ability to travel minimum 40% of the time.* Ability to lift up to thirty-five pounds.* Ability to work in a standard office setting.

　　Compensation DetailsAnnual Salary: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00

　　Additional Compensation The Salary offered will be determined based on theapplicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities,and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for thisposition. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through thecompany bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive aRelocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, in accordance with theSundyne Relocation Policy.
