Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Test Analyst with 8 to 12 years of experience in OpenWRT and Firmware Development within the Telecom domain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our telecom products. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and on-site work during day shifts with no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead the testing efforts for telecom products focusing on OpenWRT and firmware development.
Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure product quality.
Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results identifying defects and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in telecom testing.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Monitor and track test progress providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
Mentor junior test analysts sharing knowledge and best practices in telecom testing.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in OpenWRT firmware development and telecom testing.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Ensure that all testing activities are completed within project timelines and meet quality standards.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in OpenWRT and firmware development with at least 8 years of experience.
Demonstrate expertise in telecom domain understanding industry standards and protocols.
Exhibit proficiency in creating and executing test plans test cases and test scripts.
Show experience in automated testing tools and frameworks.
Display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Be familiar with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Hold a degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
