JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sr. Analyst, Environmental (Water/Air Compliance) -25618 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: ABOUT THE ROLE: The Sr. Analyst,Environmental (Water/Air Compliance) supports site-level deployment ofSC Johnson\'s Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) managementpractices to ensure compliance with local legal requirements and SCJglobal standards. This individual will collaborate with managers,supervisors and shop-floor employees to identify and controlenvironmental impacts. While this role requires, safety, health andenvironmental technical knowledge and experience, success is equallydependent on developing and supporting \"champions\" within the site todrive day-to-day ownership for SHE. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * MaintainsSHE compliance assurance processes, including self-assessments andcompliance calendars, to enable compliance with applicable laws, permitauthorizations and company standards * Supports managers andsupervisors in effective shop-floor implementation of SCJ\'s safety,health and environmental standards * Manages data collection andreporting to support compliance with environmental permits andauthorizations * Partners with assigned stakeholders to drive timely,effective closure of identified SHE-related corrective and preventiveactions * Collaborates with the site\'s engineering and maintenanceteams to ensure that inspections, testing, preventive maintenanceactivities associated with SHE-critical equipment and applicablehigh-hazard chemical processes are defined and appropriately documented* Supports deployment and maintenance of training processes to ensurethat required safety, health and environmental training is defined,addresses required content and is tracked to completion * Champions theinvestigation of safety and environmental incidents and ensures thatcorrective and preventive actions that address root causes areeffectively deployed across the site * Supports stakeholder utilizationof SCJ\'s Management of Change (MOC) process to evaluate and managepotential health and safety hazards and environmental impacts associatedwith business activity changes * Facilitates the deployment ofemployee-driven safety and environmental teams and provides technicalsupport for team activities that promote a safe, healthy andenvironmentally responsible workplace * Provides input on site-levelSHE goals and budgets * May provide day-to-day supervision to site SHEtechnicians BENEFITS AND PERKS: SC Johnson\'s total compensationpackages are at or above industry levels.
