If so, we are seeking a Sr Advisor Data Governance Development who will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions and technology that are in place to support the practice of data governance are adopted and implemented to meet the needs of data owners, stewards and users across Enbridge Liquids Pipelines (LP). In this role you will also oversee and lead the development of functional prototypes, models, or simulations to demonstrate the feasibility, functionality that seeks to address data related issues. What You Will Do: Ensure LP business data entities are owned and stewarded and remain updated and integrated with LP's data management system and solutions including cloud-based data storage solutions, such as AWS, Azure or others. Maintain comprehensive knowledge and expertise in all solutions and applications related to LP data entity management, data issue management, data maturity assessments, and data-driven investment reporting. Use data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Power App to gather and present technical findings and concepts in an engaging manner to non-statistical audiences. Leverage in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and methodologies to design and develop PoCs that demonstrate the feasibility and value of solutions proposed to address data related issues. Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to PoC development to support data governance. Who You Are:Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related discipline with more than 5 years of experience. Understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and best practices. Proficiency in database systems, data modeling, data integration, and data quality tools. Knowledge of data governance tools and platforms, such as Collibra Familiarity with data governance frameworks and standards, such as DAMA (Data Management Association) or CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) or eDMF (Enterprise Data Management Framework) Proficiency in programming languages, such as SQL, Python, C# or Java, for developing and automating data governance processes. Experience developing and implementing data visualization and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes. Preferred: Demonstrated capability in Power BI or certification is considered an asset Enbridge Flex-Work Program Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
