Job DescriptionConduct internal Kick Off meetings for new programs (Procurement and SQE).Coordinate Sourcing Strategy from business award to SORP and communicate to internal teams from Program Management, PE, Procurement and SQE (for example):Components and associated Tooling planned to PPAP by Interim PPAP milestone; Components and associated Tooling planned to PPAP before SOP; and Components and associated Tooling planned to PPAP post SOP (if necessary).Support Program Management Team to develop Supplier timing plans aligned to program milestones and communicate where required (internal group reviews, Program and/or Gate Reviews and PLT's).Drive resolution of Launch Risks identified and escalate for support when required to Program Management, Procurement and/or SQE Management to ensure Program milestones are achieved.Update and maintain Procurement Central 4SQ, Part Pedigree, APQP and BOM(s) in BI systems on a weekly basis and communicate updates to Procurement, Site SQE and Program Management Teams.Attend weekly Program Launch Team meetings (PLTs) and communicate with cross functional team as needed.Report New Program Summary, Late Sourcing, Master Program Planner, Critical, Late or New CR's of new programs on a weekly basis.Prepare Procurement and SQE presentations for Program and Gate Reviews (along with supporting evidence for IPM system).Assist Site SQE and Procurement Team in developing the Lessons Learned Summary for Gate 6 and submit deliverable on time.Implement and manage changes to ensure project goals are achieved.Participate in Technical Reviews of Priority 1 and New Components.Understand incoterms and supply chain constraints and communicate risks to Program Team.Ensure Program Team broadcasts Launch Curves to the Supply Base and risks are communicated to Procurement and SQE Teams.Proactively monitor and manage completion of deliverables of Sourcing; Sourcing Package, Technical Review, Kick Off, PPAP initiation, PPAP interim approval and PPAP full approval. Drive timely closure of sourcing and supplier quality issues during all phases of program launch. Prioritize and escalate concerns, as required.Support Launch Readiness Review of Suppliers categorized as Priority 1 and all New Components (virtual or physical).Attend trainings scheduled by HR or Procurement and SQE department.Communicate engineering changes related to New Programs to Buyers and Site SQE's and support change control coordination and implementation.Generate and present Program Status, PPAP status, Eng. Changes, Supplier concerns/recovery plan(s) and next 60-days critical activity list(s) to Program, Procurement and SQE Management Teams.
