　　This search is being conducted by Steve Spinello.

　　Can you rise to the challenge of a fast-paced culture? Your tasks as Senior Accountant will include account analysis and reconciliations, managing month-end journal entries and accruals, owning fixed assets from CapEx to depreciation, audit preparation, and working with the AP Manager to resolve AP issues and exceptions. The ability to be inquisitive and think critical will lead you to success in this role. This full-time role offers solid compensation and benefits along with professional growth. This Senior Accountant role is a hybrid work environment located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

　　Key responsibilities

　　Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

　　Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

　　Monitor Capital Expenditures, evaluate ROI, compute percentage of completion on the project, and transition into fixed assets for depreciation

　　-Provide guidance to the AP Manager on issue resolution, process improvement, and resolve reporting issues

　　Requirements

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

　　Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience highly desired

　　General familiarity with Dynamics GP a plus

　　Proficiency in accruals

　　Practical knowledge of fixed assets

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Adjusting Journal Entries

　　Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel-pivot tables/v look ups

　　Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　BA/BS in Accounting

　　2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
