Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be handling a range of accounting tasks, working closely with credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

• Manage contract billing procedures

• Leverage your architecture experience in the execution of tasks

• Utilize Unanet or other systems in the performance of duties

• Conduct month-end close activities

• Prepare financial reports and statements

• Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

• Carry out bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Ensure the month-end close process is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of General Ledger maintenance

• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Unanet accounting software
