Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in BUFFALO, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including preparing financial reports, managing accounts, and providing financial analysis when needed. You will also play a vital role in helping us achieve a timely and efficient monthly close process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis as needed

• Facilitate the monthly close procedures

• Prepare audit schedules annually and respond to any related inquiries

• Analyze monthly expenses

• Reconcile the balance sheet on a monthly basis

• Manage general ledger entries

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Conduct account and bank reconciliations

• Oversee the month-end close process. Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of an Accountant.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a vital requirement for this position.

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a must for the candidate.

• Experience in handling Bank Reconciliations is mandatory for this role.

• Proficiency in managing General Ledger is required for this position.

• The potential candidate should be skilled in preparing Journal Entries.

• The applicant must have experience in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in managing Month End Close activities is a crucial requirement for this role.
