Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant who will be working remotely or in Washington, DC. The role encompasses various accounting tasks, predominantly focusing on reconciling balance sheets, bank accounts, and credit card accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records

• Assist in reconciling credit card accounts as part of balance sheet management

• Engage in other balance sheet account activities to maintain financial clarity

• Participate in various accounting tasks as required to support the team

• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Apply critical attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and reporting

• Carry out general ledger tasks and prepare journal entries

• Support month end close processes. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as Sr. Accountant.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a mandatory skill.

• Applicant must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Must have a solid understanding and experience with General Ledger management.

• Ability to manage and create Journal Entries is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a necessity.

• Experience in handling Month End Close processes is crucial.
