Description Robert Half Finance Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. This role requires a skilled professional with strong accounting expertise to handle complex reconciliations and other high-level accounting tasks. The assignment is expected to last 4-6 weeks, starting December 30th, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed and accurate reconciliations of complex financial accounts.

Analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting as needed.

Collaborate with the team to optimize accounting workflows and processes.

Provide support on special projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

3+ years of professional accounting experience, with a focus on reconciliations.

Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

Position Details:

Work Hours: Full-time hours, Monday-Friday.

Duration: 4-6 weeks.

Start Date: December 30, 2024.

Location: Onsite.

• Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role within the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry.

• Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Experience in conducting Month End Close activities.

• Knowledge and experience in using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
