Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant for our team based in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This role centers around the distilled spirits industry and offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in financial management and operations. As a Sr. Accountant, you will manage various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. You will also assist with month-end procedures and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing

• Manage payroll activities, ensuring all payments are processed correctly and on time

• Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions and balances

• Assist in month-end close procedures, including the preparation of journal entries

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes

• Operate Sage 300 for various accounting tasks and processes

• Continually monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is necessary.

• Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.

• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures is essential.

• Knowledge and working experience with Sage 300 accounting software is desired.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is a must.

• Must have experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).
