Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in San Joaquin County, California. This role operates within the telecom provider industry and provides a chance to engage with various financial tasks. The job function will involve responsibilities such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, general ledger handling, and more. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations regularly.

• Managing the general ledger and conducting monthly closing procedures.

• Processing journal entries and performing account adjustments.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Ensuring month-end close procedures are carried out and completed accurately.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is highly desirable.

• Analyzing financial information to identify the business's financial status and performance.

• Keeping up-to-date with financial policies, regulation, and legislation.

• Collaborating with financial staff to ensure the smooth running of all finance matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience with general ledger and journal entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
