Description

　　Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a client of his that he has placed several people at over the years. This Ithaca company has a lot of stability and low turnover. 　　Responsibilities

　　Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports

　　Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

　　Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

　　Help continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

　　Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

　　Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

　　Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

　　Requirements

　　Solid understanding of Excel Formulas

　　Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

　　BA/BS in Accounting
