Description

　　In addition to the daily commercial real estate responsibilities, the Senior Accountant will also be responsible to support the CFO with the additional lines of businesses owned by the company:

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Financial Reporting:

　　Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for commercial real estate properties.

　　Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards.

　　Provide financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and variance analysis.

　　Budgeting and Forecasting:

　　Collaborate with property management teams to develop and monitor annual budgets for commercial properties.

　　Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and cash flow projections.

　　Evaluate budget-to-actual performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

　　Property Accounting:

　　Oversee the full accounting cycle for commercial properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

　　Reconcile property accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

　　Ensure accurate and timely recording of property-related transactions.

　　Lease Administration:

　　Review and interpret lease agreements to ensure accurate accounting treatment.

　　Collaborate with lease administration teams to address tenant-related financial matters.

　　Track lease-related financial obligations and ensure compliance.

　　Tax Compliance:

　　Work closely with tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate filing of property taxes.

　　Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide necessary documentation for audits.

　　Internal Controls:

　　Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets.

　　Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

　　Financial Analysis:

　　Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into property performance.

　　Participate in financial modeling for new investments or property acquisitions.

　　Communication and Collaboration:

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property management, legal, and finance, to achieve organizational goals.

　　Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

　　Strong proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Excel

　　3-5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on commercial real estate.

　　In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate accounting principles and regulations.

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
