Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting, direct hire placement of accounting and finance professionals, is recruiting to fill a Senior Accountant role for a growing Reno based company. This company is seeking a dynamic candidate that also has strong Excel, multi-tasking and communication skills. This role would be accounting for 3 different entities in their operation, that will involve interaction across the organization - including non-finance/accounting professionals. The position is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciliations and analyses of general ledger amounts, financial statements, and related schedules of multiple entities. This person will also assist in the preparation of schedules for the annual budget, five-year financial plan, and the financial audit where applicable. The role requires a BS Degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of applicable experience. Intermediate Excel skills (pivots, look-ups required) are a must. 　　Skilled with ERP systems

　　BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

　　Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

　　Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Solid understanding of general ledger

　　Microsoft Excel skills at intermediate level - pivots, look ups, etc.

　　Strong familiarity with journal entries

　　Audit Requests experience

　　Command of financial statement preparation

　　3+ years of overall general accounting experience

　　Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

　　Strong attention to detail
