Job Description

　　Insight Global is hiring a Spotfire Analyst/Advisor in Denver, CO supporting a leading international oil and gas company. The candidate would join the Characterize & Define team, responsible for generating drilling packages and providing asset production forecasting and analytics. The candidate would act as the Spotfire subject matter expert, responsible for consolidating the teams forecasting data into one place. This includes the creating dashboards, automating processes and advising on forecasting best practices. While the primary focus will be forecasting, this person while also help with cost analysis including budgeting and providing visibility as to where they are currently tracking. The goal is to get these tools and dashboards developed by end of Q1 and then to utilize the following 6 months to help troubleshoot issues, provide enhancements and continue assisting the team with digital analytics solutions. This is a contract position, starting at a 9 month contract with high likelihood of extension and the possibility of conversion into a FTE.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　- Expert within Spotfire software 3 years of experience minimum

　　- 2+ years of experience within a data analytics role or similar

　　- Experience with advising a team on best practices for data analytics, forecasting and asset production prediction. - Experience with ARIES software

　　- Experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably upstream asset production analysis and forecasting (or similar) null
