DescriptionThe Sponsor Finance team member will be involved in all aspects of due diligence processes including review of initial deal materials, preparation of opportunity memos, underwriting of new transactions, financial modeling, and independent research.Essential Functions* Support the underwriting of credit facilities, including preparation of written documents such as internal screen and other memos, term sheets and proposal letters, and credit approval presentations* Participate in the communication with transaction stakeholders including internal management and credit partners, subordinated lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies/borrowers* Prepare and manage financial models to support underwriting transactions* Conduct industry research to supplement diligence materials and third-party reports* Assist with the support, preparation, and presentation of monthly portfolio company reviewsAdditional Essential Functions* Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations* Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency* Work as part of a team* Work with on-site equipmentAdditional ResponsibilitiesSafety and Health for those without supervisory duties* Abide by the rules of the safety and loss prevention program* Perform work tasks in a safe manner* Report any and all injuries to supervisor* Know what to do in case of an emergencyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
