　　Position Summary:

　　Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

　　Reports to: Director of Occupational Therapy

　　_Responsibilities of the Position_

　　Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.Other tasks and duties as assigned.Minimum Education:

　　Master’s degree is required.

　　Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

　　Licenses: Speech Language Pathologist

　　Required Skills

　　Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
