  Description

  Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) working at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA, employed by Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center

  Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Clinician diagnoses and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.

  Shift Details: Per Diem or On Call, Day Shift

  Required qualifications:

  Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement

  Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License

  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  Preferred qualifications:

  Speech Language Pathology experience

  ASHA CCC/SLP (this is required to work in health care in WA state)

  2 years of Adult Medical experience

  The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
