We are seeking a Specimen Control and Receiving Tech SupportServices (Support Services, Microbiology, Transfusion Services,Microbiology, Core Lab, Surgical Pathology, Cytology) to: * Receivespecimens and research kits into the laboratory, check for correctlabeling, enter tests into Laboratory Information System, processspecimens, and load them onto instruments or direct to appropriate workstation, technologist, or storage area. * Basic instrument maintenance(temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing,mailing, faxing). * Interact daily with pathologists, physicians,technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients.
