　　Roles & Responsibilities:

　　• This position will provide door and hardware specification writing services to the architectural community, with the objective of increasing the market awareness of related ASSA ABLOY products.

　　• Preparation of "Opening" specifications including Door Hardware – Mechanical & Electro-mechanical, Glass, Automatics sensor doors, Acoustic partitions, and other related opening specification.

　　• Act as a professional and knowledgeable consulting resource to the architectural community concerning all types of opening related solutions and product recommendations.

　　• The Individual will be responsible for developing and applying technical product knowledge.

　　• Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in the professional environment with architectural firms to gain product approval and solicit specification writing opportunities.

　　• Candidate to report to Specification Team Leader, with training by the Competency Development Manager, and Buddies assigned to them.

　　JOB TRAINING:

　　• To prepare the employee for this role, the candidate will be enrolled in a 12-month training program ‘Graduate Training Program’, which consist of 6 months of development; 6 months supervised support as per the curriculum.

　　• Candidates in the program will be subject to a weekly assignment, progress evaluations, and quarterly assessments to assess their progression in the program.

　　• Learn how to utilize ASSA ABLOY software tools such as Openings Studio and CRM project pipeline management system to write specifications and maintain project information.

　　• At the end of the training program, the successful candidate will assume a Specification executive position with a competitive salary and bonus package commensurate with the role and responsibilities.

　　JOB REQUIREMENTS:

　　• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/ Mechanical / Electronics / Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university is a minimum requirement.

　　specifically with computer software applications including major Microsoft "Office Suite" programs, specifically Excel.

　　• Knowledge in AutoCAD will be preferred

　　• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills is required.

　　• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills and time management habits.

　　• Motivated self-starter with a high aptitude for acquiring new skills and principles.
