The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Production Scheduler to join our growing team at our Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) located in Huntsville, AL.
Essential Functions:
40% - Responsible for scheduling multiple programs and production activities into resource specific schedules and translating those into one cohesive integrated master schedule. Provide management with a clear critical path to deliveries and report bottlenecks and constraints.
30% - Perform “what-if” schedule scenario’s at the request of management and program office. Analyze downsteam effects of various constraints to the overall schedule to help provide program office with options to aid their decision making.
20% - Assist the Master Scheduler in MPS activity and the development and maintenance of visual management scheduling tools to ensure proper tracking and reporting of key deliverables.
10% - Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Requires proficient knowledge of job area. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.
Production Scheduling or Capacity Planning experience or demonstrated willingness to learn.
MS Office skills, especially MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Oracle/ ERP experience.
Demonstrated Lean experience or certification.
Willingness to learn Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Delmia, ASCP, Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, etc.
