What you’ll do:

　　Eaton is a diversified power management company providing energy-efficient solutions that help our customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power. . Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) has an opening for a Specialist MBSE - Engineering Functional Excellence, Digital Engineering. This position will be based in Pune, India.

　　'This specialist position on Engineering Information Management (EIM)' will be responsible for driving the faster product launch processes across the organization by leveraging Pro-Launch framework and digitalization approaches. This role will lead the development of the information management & reuse framework that leverages all the existing details released as a part of new product development, sustaining engineering projects etc.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　• Lead development and deployment of Org-wide Engineering information management strategies resulting in implementation plans with SMART goals that are linked to CTO guidance and profit plan.

　　• Conceptualize and Implement Engineering information management (EIM) within Product Development and specifically Systems Engineering that allows engineers to collaborate on a Single Source of Truth of complete engineering data.

　　• Leads the process digitalization strategy by developing overall architecture in alginment with Eaton IT and other stakeholder. Drives AI oriented approaches that align with Enterprize AI plans and strategies.

　　Qualifications:

　　Graduate / Post Graduate in mechanical engineering / Electrical / Aerospace engineering & Strong understanding of organizational product launch processes.

　　Overall min 12+ years of relevant experience in product engineering, enterprise architecture, change management and Engineering tool chain etc. 5+ years of demonstrated experience on Engineering process automation and product life cycle digital thread.

　　Skills:

　　• Hands on experience of working with product lifecycle management processes & should have worked on Product design life cycle (PDLC)

　　• Prior experience as architect & in business case development, toolchain assessment, Infrastructure sizing, costing, migration planning etc.

　　• Should understand the technical as well as IT requirements and efficient in conveying with CFT and IT folks

　　• Solid understanding of Engineering information management processes, enigneering value chain and associated tool chain.

　　• Experience in creating a strategy and architecture approach for transforming enterprise grade legacy platforms to modern platforms using modern tech stack and architecture.

　　• Hands on experience on requirement management, including usage of tools for requirements management such as DOORS and JAMA

　　• Requirement development including product flow-down and traceability, Proficiency in requirements compliance cycle

　　• Aware DFSS product development methodology. Prefer DfSS/ DMAIC certified candidate.

　　• Proven track record of complex problem solving

　　• Proven track record in Project Engineering or Program Management Leadership

　　• Product and system engineering proficiency along with process automation on Product lifecycle

　　• Understands various coding languages, tool interfaces used in Product development, high level working of automation architectures etc.
