ASRC Federal AFSS provides these services throughout all phases of the program life cycle and across the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets.
We are seeking a 2nd shift Electrical Manufacturing Engineer in Kennedy Space Center, FL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
Knowledge of production manufacturing and assembly processes.
Experience with Engineering Change Management
Minimum 1 year experience demonstrating use of SAP or similarERP/MES software for generating manufacturing work instructions, routings, product structure, and manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).
Experience with harnessassembly, instrumentations,and electrical components (hardware) installations.
Experience reviewing engineering drawings as well as providing technical support to the production floor.
Experience and understanding of configuration management practices and databases such as Windchill, EPDM, or similar.
Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Creo Parametric, CreoView, EdgeCAM, Delmia
Good verbal and written communication including technical writing. Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports. Ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation.
Advanced Skills in the Microsoft Office software suite.
Position is permanently located at KSC, FL. Ability to travel as necessary.
Availability to train on first shift for a couple weeks then work second shift. Expected to adjust their schedule accordingly to support off-shifts and weekend activities as needed.
