  PeopleTec has an exciting new opportunity and is looking for a growthminded, inspirational leader to participate in all associated strategy,business development, capture, and proposal activities for US SpaceCommand, US Space Force, and Space Systems Command. The Senior SpaceAdvisor will report directly to the Business Unit VP for Space BusinessDevelopment and Strategy and is aligned to the VP for the capture anddevelopment of Space opportunities. The individual performing in this positionleads all PeopleTec efforts related to space business development with the USSpace Force, US Air Force, and select DoD agencies with a primary spacemission (e.g. Space Development Agency).As summarized above, this individual will focus on developing andimplementing strategies to position PeopleTec's space lines of business forsustained growth and profitability. Specific areas of emphasis include:Leadership and Internal CollaborationThe Space BD Lead will collaborate internally across group capabilities andengage with business development staff in all aspects of business development.The Space and Strategy BD Lead will personally run select, high prioritycaptures and proposals.BD StrategyThe Space and Strategy BD Lead applies market analysis and related informationto develop strategic plans and inform decision-making for investmentpriorities. The individual collaborates with the organization's BD strategyand market assessment activities by integrating information gleaned fromcustomers, industry experts, competitors, and other business leaders.The individual influences corporate business strategy for entry and growth innew market areas through development of new business models, internaltechnology investment, joint venture agreements and development of newmarketing channels.Customer Engagement and Market PositioningThis individual has a very high tempo of engagement with senior Defense Spacecustomers, to sustain situational awareness of the space marketplace,influence customer perception of PeopleTec, and promote knowledge of howPeopleTec capabilities can help customers achieve better mission outcomes. Theindividual works with the PeopleTec Business Development team to driveconnections to buyers of space-related services and products, attendingseminars, forums, providing white papers, and conferenceparticipation, to strengthen PeopleTec's reputation as a trusted expertand increase the number of new business opportunities in the pipeline.

  Qualifications

  15+ years of experience in industry business development-related activitiesfor space lines of business. The experience must include strategy, pipelinedevelopment, selling both services and solutions / services, front-endcustomer engagement, capture, and proposal development for US governmentopportBachelors degree or equivalent in a technical or business aligned field.Masters Degree preferred.Existing network of customer contacts in the space community in the US SpaceForce, US Air Force, Space Development Agency, Space Rapid CapabilitiesOffice, and other DoD agencies.Outstanding record of success in leading teams in winning new businessopportunities and improving bid and program profitability, with emphasis oncapture strategy and proposal development.Demonstrated thought leadership role in space-related domains, as evidencedby participation on panels, media events, presentations, and whitepapers. Superior communication skills - oral and written - required.Experience in responding to solicitations under the Federal AcquisitionRegulation and proficiency in industry BD best practices (e.g., Shipley)to proposals for government clients.Immediately eligible for Top Secret clearance.Desired Qualificati nsExperience with Space Force and other DoD space agency special access program(SAP) activities.Experience with business development for both differentiated solutions forSystems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) and actual space systems(e.g. satellites, ground systems).Experience or knowledge of Digital Engineering, Artificial Intelligence(AI), Machine Learning (ML), Space Operations, Sensors,Satellites and Space AcquisitionBenefits offered can be found here: Benefits PeopleTec.
