Special Procedure Cardiac Cath Rad Tech

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Procedure Cardiac Catheterization Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic cardiac catheterization team. The ideal candidate will perform specialized imaging procedures, focusing on cardiac catheterization, angiography, and interventional radiography.

Responsibilities
Conduct cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of physicians.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address their concerns.
Operate and monitor imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
Assist in patient monitoring and ensure safety and comfort throughout the process.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years advanced level/lead experience as an interventional radiology / cardiac catheterization radiologic technologist with specialty fields of coronary angiographic vascular and electrophysiology.
Extensive knowledge of all department protocols and procedures.
CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required.
ARRT certification required (with specialty in Cardiac or Interventional Radiology preferred).
AHA BLS CPR required.
AHA ACLS required.
Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the patient population.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Pay Range
$62.59 - $73.73 /hour
