The tasks and scope you may expect from this role are the following:

　　Sourcing and Procurement of project components, identifying and delivering savings.

　　Negotiating prices, payment terms, key contract terms.

　　Initiate Standardization & Establish Long Term Contract

　　Providing Global Supply Chain strategy is implemented where suitable.

　　Ensuring all purchase orders are placed with “approved suppliers” to achieve the best possible commercial terms on costs, progress payments and payment terms while overseeing the full scope of supply is in accordance with the contractual requirements.

　　Assuring projects are delivered on time in accordance with the contractual requirements,

　　Closely expediting with suppliers in post order phase for deliverable documents, major milestones achievements and Delivery schedule.

　　Managing suppliers work and deliver to the contractual specifications and acceptance standards.

　　Competitive negotiations to drive deflation in region with the supplier base. Manage supplier contracts, supply agreements, and /or e-auctions with preferred suppliers in the region to ensure that market trends, supplier performance, and future business needs are aligned

　　Supporting with on-boarding new suppliers

　　Optimise the performance of key suppliers on cost reduction, supplier delivery reliability, quality performance and risk mitigation in cooperation with Supplier Quality Engineers and Quality department

　　Running reports and distributing to relevant stakeholders

　　Complying with all Health & Safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment for Howden employees, clients and suppliers.

　　Assisting Sales & Proposals in the bid phase for costs and delivery lead-times.

　　Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization

　　Supervising quality inspections both internal & customers are co-ordinated with QC resource management.

　　Maintain data in MRP system (AX) including delivery dates, project status and forecast costs
