As a MechanicalDrafter, you will play a critical role in the design and development ofinnovative mechanical systems and components. Your expertise inSolidWorks will be instrumental in translating conceptual designs intoprecise technical drawings and models, ensuring the accuraterepresentation of our engineering solutions.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Design Development:

　　- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand projectrequirements and objectives.

　　- Translate conceptual ideas and rough sketches into detailed 2D and 3Dmodels using SolidWorks.

　　- Contribute to the creation of accurate and comprehensive technicaldrawings, assembly layouts, and specifications.

　　- Develop models and drawings that adhere to industry standards andbest practices.

　　Detailing and Documentation:

　　- Create detailed part drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials(BOMs) for manufacturing and assembly purposes.

　　- Generate documentation that provides clear instructions forproduction, assembly, and quality control.

　　CAD Modeling and Analysis:

　　- Utilize SolidWorks to construct complex 3D models of mechanicalcomponents, systems, and structures.

　　- Conduct basic simulations and analysis using SolidWorks to evaluatethe functionality and performance of designs.

　　Collaboration and Communication:

　　- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers,designers, and project managers, to ensure designs meet project goalsand specifications.

　　- Communicate effectively with team members to address design changes,improvements, and feedback.

　　Quality Control:

　　- Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherenceto design standards.

　　- Identify and resolve discrepancies between design documentation andphysical prototypes or products

　　6. Continuous Improvement:

　　- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practicesrelated to mechanical design and SolidWorks capabilities.

　　- Suggest and implement improvements to design processes, workflows,and tools to enhance efficiency and quality.

　　Qualifications:

　　- Associate\'s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, ora related field.

　　- Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter with a strong emphasis onSolidWorks proficiency.

　　- In-depth knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, andmanufacturing processes.

　　- Proficiency in creating 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorkssoftware.

　　- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for draftingand design.

　　- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.

　　- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

　　- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adaptto changing project priorities.

　　- Problem-solving skills and the ability to propose creative designsolutions.

　　Pay: \$25.00/hr + DOE

　　Schedule:

　　Monday - Friday

　　7:00am to 4:30pm.
