We are looking for a Software Test Architect (m/f/d) to join our Digital Services Team!

Your role

With our cloud-based platform Railigent X, we develop digital solutions for higher availability, lower costs and optimized maintenance of trains and railway infrastructure based on the diverse data from the railway sector.

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for system testing and test architecture of data-based software solutions on the Railigent cloud platform.

Create test concepts and specifications for our Railigent X software solutions based on customer or internal requirements.

Design and execute test cases. If deviations occur, you will investigate and document them.

Maintain and extend the existing test framework and analyze new test automation methods and technologies.

Your qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable qualification.

More than 8 years of professional experience including more than 4 years in system testing.

ISTQB-certified (e.g. Test Analyst, Test Automation Engineer), ideally a certified "Test Architect" or have held comparable roles and responsibilities during your career.

Expertise in developing test frameworks, very good knowledge of Python and test automation (ideally with robotframework.org) and ability develop test drivers independently.

Proven track record in testing complex software systems and experience with cloud-based applications (e.g. AWS, Azure) as well as an understanding of the technical requirements of customers.

Several years of experience with agile methods (ideally with the Scaled Agile Framework SAFe).

Very good English skills and, ideally, knowledge of German.
