We are looking for a Senior Full stack Software Engineer who can help us build a new application or modernize existing applications. You will serve as an individual contributor and help us to meet requirements with clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure high software quality. Work as part of the team to achieve key business objectives. Work on large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives. Collaborate with the team on application architecture design, decision-making and process automation. Work on a time sensitive and highly visibility initiative to stabilize the existing regression suite and bring it up to date with the latest code base to test web and mobile OS/browsers combinations. Assist with solutions to validate complex scenarios at a code or infrastructure level. Review issues found via automation or manual testing to determine if there are environmental issues. Determine root cause of issues (i.e. database, file systems, etc.) and work with the Development teams to resolve them They should have the relevant automation experience to understand the existing framework and scale up quickly to debug the scripts Provide feedback to the teams on improvements and assist in coming up with a sustainable maintenance process. Experience in Agile testing methodologies will help Provide alternate design solutions in automation phase Design and implement test enhancements in collaboration with development team through automation Troubleshoot post-production issues and identify root cause Predict emerging customer needs and develop test plan to meet them Participate in the development of test strategy and test plan Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 7+ years of experience as Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) 3+ years of experience developing test automation or combination of development in Cypress tool and test automation experience 2+ years of experience with agile methodologies Solid experience in Cypress tool and automation testing using Cypress Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development Test automation experience using Java, JUnit, Jenkins, Maven, Cypress, Selenium web driver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber Mobile and Web application experience in a SDET capacity Hands on experience with testing and automating web and mobile applications and services testing in an agile mindset Hands on experience on test automation of APIs (SOAP and REST services) and API testing experience Experience with developer tools and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), such as Eclipse and GitHub for developing on the Java stack. Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests. Experience with unit testing and test-driven methodologies using Cypress, Selenium and Junit Writes test code to test product/application code The QA Engineer is responsible for reviewing and updating the existing Automation framework for data driven testing approach as well as enhancing for supporting cross browser (specifically mobile) testing. Solid communication, collaboration and influencing skills to drive change Solid Oral communication skills
