　　Asa Software Engineering Intern in Product Engineering Software (PES), you willdive into developing our premiere NX CAD software. Projects will focus onArchitecture and User Interface (UI) Tools development. You will have theopportunity to partner with senior engineers and push the limits on our projectteams.

　　What we're looking for

　　Assomeone who's opted for a placement within their degree course, you will belooking to start your career as a Software Engineer within technical web development.Your degree must contain a high level of technical content preferably within engineeringor computer science. This role is paid, available for one year, and offers afantastic opportunity to work on technology for 3D CAD software projects in anexciting and varied enterprise environment for industry leading customers.

　　Itis expected that the candidate will acquire a broad understanding of ourproducts, their domains, and their application; have the confidence to expressideas as part of a creative software team; have a genuine interest intechnological trends; have the ability to meet deadlines; to think creativelyabout solutions to complex technical problems; and be constantly striving toenhance the team's results and the quality of the software.

　　What you'll be doing

　　Youwill design, implement, enhance, and maintain software as a member of theArchitecture team for a large CAD application, Siemens NX. The Architectureteam builds tools and services to be used by all NX applications to ensure acommon user experience across applications and platforms, including desktop andweb.

　　What you'll bring

　　Experience using in C++ or similar object-oriented languages An inquisitive and methodical approach with good attention to detail Strong analysis, design, and problem-solving ability Enthusiasm for continuous learning Strong written andverbal communication skillsAn interest working with current development technologies Knowledge of software engineering principles A passion for creating high-quality software

　　Aknowledge of any of the following would be desirable:

　　Commanding grasp of JavaScript, HTML5, Python, or C# Experience with Windows UI API, QT, MFC or other platform UI desktop frameworks 3D CAD systems Object orientated programming techniques Test Driven Development (TDD)
