A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day): • Design and develop new Go applications to meet the needs of the customer’s research ideas. • Extract new features from requirements set by the customer for existing applications. • Containerize new and existing solutions for a team development environment and a technical transfer knowledge for the customer. • Anticipate the needs of the customer by making software decisions for applications to target a higher user base and allow for easier changes in the long term. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide technical information to teammates and major updates of the project to the customer. • Good understanding of system and software design with a focus on distributed systems concepts (e.g. high availability, reliability, and scalability). • Develop RESTful APIs for various services working in a microservices architecture. What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have): • Software Development Experience • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance • Proficiency in Python • Proficiency in C++ • Experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
