　　The Watts Internship Program is strategically designed to provide you with the opportunity to utilize what you have learned in the classroom while gaining a true understanding of the business world by applying those key principles through hands-on experience. During the internship, students will gain exposure to and impact operations. There will be many chances to network with like-minded professionals in manufacturing, industrial engineering, and beyond to stimulate your mind through cross-departmental collaboration.

　　As a Software Engineer, you will support developers, designers, and the team in software design administration and delivery. You will have exposure to the following components during your internship:

　　End-to-End Solutions

　　Website Design

　　JavaScript and Ruby on Rails

　　You will be remote and report to the Engineering Manager, Watts Digital. The hourly range for this role is $18-$21/hour depending on experience.

　　You Will:

　　During your time with Watts, you will gain exposure with the following technologies:

　　Microsoft Azure – You will work with Cloud technologies that are part of our standard development and architecture practices

　　C# – C# is a modern, innovative, open-source, cross-platform object-oriented programming language and one of the top 5 programming languages on GitHub

　　React JavaScript (JS) – Design views for each state of the application to create interactive UI

　　Xamarin / .NET MAUI – Build multi-platform apps with .NET MAUI for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows from a shared C# codebase

　　GitHub - A platform and cloud-based service for software development and version control using Git, allowing developers to store and manage their code.

　　You Have:

　　Current sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree

　　Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future

　　Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office suite products, and the Adobe Suite of graphic/web design applications such as Photoshop

　　Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge programming, application / cloud development, and database design leveraging C# (or a similar language), ReactJS / TypeScript, SQL, and Azure

　　Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects

　　Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners
